As expected, the WWE cuts have begun following the merger between WWE and the UFC after Endeavor’s acquisition of WWE, where the companies have since transitioned into one under TKO Holdings Group.
Since the merger was first announced, it was expected that since there would be departments that both companies already have in place, it would be more cost-efficient to have those departments join into one.
Pwinsider reports that Jamie Horowitz, who held the post of Executive Vice President of Development and Digital at WWE, is gone.
He first signed with WWE in June 2021 after working at DAZN as Executive Vice President of Global Content.
It was an interesting departure that is somewhat surprising, considering he was brought into the company by WWE President Nick Khan.
