Internal Reaction To Karrion Kross’ Viral WWE Promo After WrestleMania

WWE fans and wrestlers are still talking about Karrion Kross’s recent promo after his WrestleMania appearance. Kross unleashed frustration after being absent from the WrestleMania 41 card despite the event taking place in his hometown of Las Vegas.

He was upset about his position and feud with AJ Styles, which mixed fiction and reality. The promo went viral online, and you can see it here. Going forward, Kross is expected to get an extended TV push.

Fightful Select reports that they were told that Kross doesn’t have heat within WWE, but the segment did turn heads. While the segment wasn’t scripted for Kross, the other interviews on the show weren’t as well. “One source claimed that the segment required some approval before it made it into the final cut of the show, due to language.”

Regarding the backstage reaction, several wrestlers stated they reached otu to Kross to check on him and thank him for the promo while doing it in a way that could work in his character, and outside of wrestling.”
