During a backstage segment on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Many Rose said that she needed to speak to Sonya Deville.
Mandy said that she and Sonya have been through a lot together when they were best friends and she believes the old Sonya is still out there.
Mandy says she wants to put everything behind them because “I choose to see the good in you.”
That sounds like they ware dropping their storyline feud and it’s likely because of the news that broke over the weekend about the stalker that attempted to kidnap Deville (Daria Berenato). According to local police, Mandy Saccomano (Mandy Rose) was with her since they are best friends in real life.
WWE apparently feels that it’s better to drop the storyline, given the current real-life situation in Deville’s life. Deville was in court this week to provide details on the man who has been stalking her online for many months.
Hillsborough Circuit Judge Catherine Catlin found that Phillip Thomas II is a threat to the safety of the community and therefore ruled that Thomas would remain in jail without bail. According to court statements, Thomas also made threats on the lives of Deville’s parents and siblings.
Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville in a Hair vs. Hair match was scheduled for SummerSlam on Sunday.
UPDATE: Sonya Deville walked out later in the show and said that she wanted to raise the stakes for the match at SummerSlam and the loser will leave WWE.
