Prior to last night’s WWE WrestleMania 39 event, WrestlingNews.co’s caught up with Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY and Dakota Kai.
On Bayley helping them in WWE:
Kai said, “Honestly, like, she’s the reason why we’re both here. I wasn’t with the company at the time. We were just doing completely different things and she really stuck her neck out for us. She’s such an amazing person to learn under.”
On if they could add more members to Damage CTRL?
Kai said, “Oh yeah. I definitely wouldn’t rule it out. I feel like if we add more to us, it will become more of a faction.”
On who they would like to see return to WWE:
SKY said, “KAIRI.”
On facing Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus, and Lita at WrestleMania:
Kai said, “Oh my gosh. It’s overwhelming. Lita and Trish were really trailblazers. They were so ahead of their time and now getting new opportunities. There’s so many things that they’ve done and being opposite them is insane. We watched them growing up, so it’s very weird.”
