Jade Cargill has officially joined WWE after weeks of reports that she was headed to the company.
Cargill finished up with AEW after her contract expired earlier this month and has been training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. She joins Cody Rhodes as only the second person from AEW to jump to WWE since the promotion launched in 2019.
As previously reported, WWE has been working on main roster creative for her, indicating she will be going there instead of NXT.
WWE confirmed they’ve signed her to a multi-year contract. The news was first reported by ESPN. WWE issued the following statement:
“STAMFORD, Conn., September 26, 2023 – WWE today announced it has signed Jade Cargill to a multi-year contract. The news was first reported by ESPN. Cargill, a standout performer who has earned accolades as an industry-renowned talent, will begin training today at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.”
