For those of you wondering about the status of Jason Jordan, I wish there was better news to report but it doesn’t look like he will be back in the ring anytime soon and he may not return at all.
An update on Jordan was provided on PWInsider Elite. “I’ve heard there’s no timeframe on when Jordan will be returning to the ring, if at all,” Mike Johnson said. “It’s bad. Apparently, it was a lot worse than they thought it was gonna be. You can’t mess with the neck.”
Jordan was set to get a big push earlier this year and he was originally scheduled to wrestle Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. He was “sent home” by Kurt Angle on the February 5th episode of Monday Night Raw as a cover reason to explain his absence from WWE TV. At the time, his wife downplayed the severity of his injury and said that her husband would be back in a short time.
His injury situation was worse than it was initially reported but, as of July, there was still hope that he would return to action. There was talk of Jordan returning in the fall and there were plans for him to team up with Chad Gable again. In recent weeks, he has been working backstage in a producer role.
