JBL Announces New ‘Curtain Jerkers’ Project

JBL shared details about his two latest media projects during an appearance on TMZ Inside The Ring. The first project, titled Curtain Jerkers, is a collaboration with Conrad Thompson and features comedians on Ring Classics. JBL explained that the show aims to be more than just a typical wrestling podcast, featuring man-on-the-street segments, convention interviews, and AI-generated recreations of legendary wrestling stories whose “statue of limitations” has finally run out.

“We want to be something a little bit different. We created this Curtain Jerkers. We go to conventions with all the wrestlers, all the old legends. We have a man on the street that talks to wrestling fans. Talk to legends…..We got some AI that we’ve created some stuff with to kind of recreate a lot of this stuff. And the good thing about the old guys like myself, statue of limitations has run out. And so guys tell stories that I sit there sometimes ‘I’m not sure how to said that, but it’s 30 years ago, so nobody cares.'”

The second project, Have More Money Now, focuses on financial literacy and investment strategies. JBL, who has authored a best-selling book on the subject, noted that he wants to help fans and fellow athletes avoid debt and build long-term wealth.
