Seth Rollins said this week that the last match of a two-night show is the one that matters. JBL agrees, and he also thinks Rollins knew exactly what he was doing by saying it.

“I think so. Yeah, I think so. Now I call them both main events because both end up closing shows. It’s hard to close shows that are really good, and I give them both main events.”
“But which one has more prestige? I think the last night does have more prestige, without taking anything away from the first night. That’s a main event in its own right, but I think that last night is.”
Then he complimented the move rather than the argument.
“But what a great hype Seth Rollins put here. This is tremendous. This is how you hype a match. This is how you hype the importance of a match. Seth’s a smart guy, but the way he did this, I think, is perfect for hyping this match with Roman.”
Rollins challenges Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Night Two on Sunday. CM Punk defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes in the main event of Night One.
Jim Ross made the same call on Grilling JR this week, saying the closing spot cannot be replicated anywhere else on a card and should be treated as an honour regardless of who wins.
