JBL Says Randy Orton “Looks Like He Ate The Younger Randy Orton”

John “Bradshaw” Layfield (JBL) had high praise for Randy Orton’s current physical condition and career resurgence, following Orton’s WWE Backlash main event against John Cena. Speaking on “Something to Wrestle With,” JBL shared his admiration for “The Viper.”

While he didn’t watch Backlash live due to working an independent show, JBL caught up via social media. “Of course, saw Randy Orton, who’s good Lord, he looked like he ate the younger Randy Orton. He looks fantastic,” JBL remarked. “My man Codes [his travel companion] was watching… he showed me Pat McAfee’s chest.” (JBL then humorously critiqued McAfee’s physique).

He attributed Orton’s condition to dedication: “Bob Orton is a dear friend of mine. He tells me, all Randy does is train. He just trains… And he looks fantastic. What a rebirth to a career. Not that Randy needed it, but all sudden you change, become this. He’s huge, and you’ve got this whole new iteration of yourself. I really applaud right now. I’ve always been a fan of Randy Orton.” JBL even compared Orton’s current size to “Hulk Hogan in his prime.”
