Jeff Hardy says he went to inpatient rehab, cleared to return to WWE in-ring action

Jeff Hardy appeared this week on WWE Backstage, the first time he’s appeared on WWE-related television since last April as he’s been dealing with a knee injury.

Jeff says he’s been officially cleared so that explains why he’s been backstage at SmackDown during the last couple of weeks. He said he will be a different version of himself in 2020.

Jeff said the knee injury was a blessing because he could spend time with his father, who has been dealing with health issues. On October 3rd, 2019 he got into trouble. He was arrested for DWI and public intoxication last year. He said that the last issue led to him going into inpatient rehab.

Jeff said he doesn’t know what his brother Matt is going to do since they haven’t spoken about his WWE contract expired.

Jeff said he was “marking out” when he saw The Street Profits win the Raw Tag Team Championships and there’s a lot of excitement going on right now and he just wants to get in the mix. Jeff said he would love to wrestle Roman Reigns.
