WWE has announced a new segment for this Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
Jeff Hardy is slated to be The Miz’s guest on Miz TV on this week’s SmackDown. This segment is being done to further Hardy’s feud with Sheamus.
Sheamus went over Hardy in a singles match at last month’s WWE Backlash pay-per-view event in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center on the WWE Network.
Last week’s episode of SmackDown saw Sheamus do a toast to Hardy. The segment featured Hardy in the ring while Sheamus appeared via video where Sheamus tried to get Hardy to drink alcohol.
The segment ended when Hardy hit Sheamus’ personal bartender with a Swanton Bomb.
WWE has also announced a few matches for this show such as Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley and Sasha Banks taking on Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss in a non-title match and The New Day defending their SmackDown Tag Team Titles against Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro.
WWE will re-air Universal Champion Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt from the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. This is where Wyatt portrayed his Firefly Fun House character.
