Jeff Hardy has provided an update on how long he’ll be out of action after announcing the news that he would be undergoing surgery.
Hardy suffered an injury while working last Saturday’s night’s SmackDown live event in Madison, Wisconsin where The Hardyz teamed up to defeat The Usos. At the time, it was reported that Hardy appeared to have suffered some sort of leg injury.
Fast forward to this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Columbus, OH at the Schottenstein Center on the USA Network, Jeff was on a crutch and announced that he’d be undergoing surgery. Matt and Jeff were forced to relinquish the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
WWE’s YouTube channel released this video where Jeff talked about the injury, which is his right knee. Hardy revealed that he will be out of action for 6-9 months and that he’ll undergo the knife in the next few days. He said he’s going to have his whole right knee repaired, which was needed as he has put it off for four years now due to wear and tear.
