Jeff Jarrett is back with WWE as the Hall Of Famer is now working in the live events side of the business.
Pwinsider.com reported today that Jarrett is in a “high-level executive” role that starts next week. One source described it as Jarrett “taking over live events.” As of this writing, Jarrett has yet to comment on his return to the company.
Jarrett was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2018 before working as a producer for the company in 2019 and later as an executive on the live events side that came to a halt due to the COVID pandemic. He later departed from the company.
He made an appearance on a January episode of SmackDown earlier this year. He’s also slated to appear on the Steve Austin Broken Skull Sessions podcast next week.
In between his stints in WWE, Jarrett made several appearances for GCW in addition to being the special referee for the NWA World title match at this year’s Crockett Cup.
Jarrett currently hosts his My World podcast and is part of the ownership group of Minor League Baseball team, The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes, in Illinois.
