Jeff Jarrett on Global Force Wrestling: “stay tuned”

WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett did a Q&A with fans on his recently launched Facebook page.

Jarrett answered questions about his career but there was one answer to a question that will have some people talking. Perhaps there is nothing to this but he gave an interesting answer when he was asked, “What’s going on with Global Force?”

Jarrett gave a short response: “stay tuned…”

Jarrett founded GFW in 2014 and he entered agreements with AAA in Mexico and New Japan Pro Wrestling, among other promotions around the world.

GFW co-promoted New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 9 in 2015 and during that year, Jarrett ran shows across ballparks in different states. In late summer/early fall, GFW Amped tapings took place at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

More from the Q&A:

Question: “What are your thoughts on the current state of wrestling? Particularly AEW. Would you ever join them in any capacity?”

Answer: “since the pandemic started I believe our industry has gained tremendous respect and awareness to the resiliency of it.”

Question: “When you wrestled in Memphis, would you say the Tn.Stud Robert Fuller was your toughest opponent?”

Question: “How was working with chyna”

Answer: “great; specifically during the summer of 1999 it was so unique at the time; great memories.”

Is there any current day wrestler you think you’d have a great feud with?”

Answer: “Elias!”

Question: “Where did slapnuts come from?”

Answer: “I think we will devote an entire episode to the term Slapnutz! Short answer-my grandmother.”
