Jerry Lawler signs new contract with WWE

On the latest “Dinner with the King” podcast, Jerry “The King” Lawler announced that he has signed a new two-year deal with WWE.

His previous deal expired on January 10th but they were able to come to terms to keep him on board. This should eliminate his name from rumors about a possible move to All Elite Wrestling. Jim Ross’ contract expires at the end of March and he has been heavily rumored for AEW. He will be in high demand by both AEW and WWE.

Lawler also said that he will be calling the men’s Royal Rumble match and he was given a raise to say with the company. Lawler will continue his duties on the Kickoff show panels before pay-per-view events.
