WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler revealed during a recent episode of his Dinner With The King podcast that he recently got some bad news from his doctor about his current physical health.
The legendary pro wrestler noted that he needs to get a double knee replacement as they are shot. However, he’s not taking the advice given to him by his doctor. Instead, he plans to keep wrestling.
“They can still do whatever I want, but it’s very painful,” Lawler stated. Thus, he plans to get through it with help from hyaluronan injections.
During the same podcast, Lawler hinted at changes coming to this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony. Lawler seemed to indicate that he would not be hosting the ceremony like in previous years. For what it’s worth, there’s been talk in WWE about cutting out some elements from the ceremony to shorten the ceremony. Sean Waltman recently stated on his podcast that the company was looking at eliminating the inductors.
