Jesse Ventura had expressed being open to being involved with WWE now that Vince McMahon is gone, and that is the case as he attended Monday’s Raw.
“The Body” has been on good and bad terms with the company, mainly McMahon, for years. Ventura tried to get WWE wrestlers to unionize in 1986, before WrestleMania 2, and had a legal battle with the former chairman. The legendary wrestler made a name for himself as a wrestler before becoming an announcer for WWE, leading to his Hall of Fame induction in 2004.
Earlier this year, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed he was talking with WWE again now that McMahon is gone. He later clarified it was for a Legends deal.
Triple H first noted that Ventura was in attendance at the Saint Paul, Minnesota, show. They highlighted Ventura’s visit during the broadcast, and Michael Cole welcomed Ventura back. As seen below, Ventura thanked Triple H for having him back and shared a photo of him meeting with CM Punk.
He also referenced Punk’s line about how it looked like hell froze again.
Yes, it's true. The Body is back home. Thank you @TripleH and the whole @WWE family. @CMPunk looks like hell froze over… again. https://t.co/dADFVfyYPP
