After WWE Raw went off the air, a defeated Jey Uso addressed the live crowd in Phoenix, Arizona, following his World Heavyweight Championship loss to GUNTHER.
In an emotional moment, Jey brought his young son Jace into the ring and apologized for the loss before showing immense respect for the new champion.
“I fought my ass off. GUNTHER is that dude. One of the best athletes, one of the best pros I ever stepped foot in the ring with,” Uso said. “At the end of the night, I got hella respect for that man, so give it up for GUNTHER.”
Despite the loss, Uso was grateful for the crowd’s support and promised his journey back to the top was just beginning.
“But I’ma run it back. I’ma run it back,” he declared to the appreciative audience. “I’m very, very blessed, man. I stay humble in front of y’all. I love what I do, I don’t ever take this for granted.”
