WWE announced today that Jey Uso recently underwent surgery to repair injuries suffered during the WrestleMania 31 kickoff match. The story on WWE.com states that the injury is what caused him to be removed from the Fatal 4-Way WWE tag team title match.
“At WrestleMania, Jey suffered an anterior shoulder dislocation on the left arm, which was later evaluated back in Florida,” said WWE physician Dr. Stephen Daquino. Jey’s surgery was to tighten his rotator cuff and shoulder capsule to repair the injury that had been aggravating him leading up to WrestleMania.
There is no concrete timetable on how long he will be out of action but Dr. Daquino said that he is estimated to be out for about six months. If he is out for that amount of time then that means he would be back sometime in October.
