Jim Ross believes Kurt Angle deserves to face top star in WrestleMania retirement match

The talk of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle calling it a career at WrestleMania 35 continues to be a hot topic.

He made the announcement on Monday’s episode of Raw in Pittsburgh, PA at the PPG Paints Arena in front of his hometown crowd. As of this writing, the opponent for Angle, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all-time, at this show has yet to be announced.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross sounded off Angle’s retirement match recently on The Jim Ross Report where he made it known that he thinks that the former WWE Champion deserves to have a special WrestleMania moment and a top star to battle in his final match.

“That means he should have his moment, with the right opponent, that Kurt Angle can go out and have as good a match as he possibly can at this stage of his career. There’s a lot of guys that are big time stars that don’t have matches. “I don’t know who Samoa Joe is going to wrestle, I don’t know who Roman Reigns is going to wrestle I don’t know who John Cena is going to wrestle.”
