WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has posted a new blog entry over at his website where he gives his thoughts on various topics. During the blog, Ross commented on the upcoming match between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg at this Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event, which will be the main event of the show. “I’ve got Lesnar winning Sunday night on @WWENetwork from Toronto in a straight forward, physical bout with ample strikes and MMA influence,” Ross said. He thinks that the match could easily go 15 minutes.
The Undertaker returned to WWE TV on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, which was the 900th episode of the show. Taker said that he is back and if Team SmackDown Live lost at Survivor Series to Team RAW then they would have to answer to him. It was speculated that Taker would be back on WWE TV more often than he has in recent years. Ross noted that Undertaker is still rehabbing his hip after he had surgery on it last month. Ross added that Taker was dealing with chronic hip alignment and that’s the reason he had surgery. “As much as I’d love to see Taker back in the ring more, I don’t see that happening but I’m certainly prepared to say I’m was wrong,” Ross said. He thinks that Taker could be effectively worked into various storylines as a recurring character which would bring additional star power to the show.
Ross also talked about the NXT Takeover and more. You can read the entire blog here. If you haven’t done so, you can listen to the latest episode of the Ross Report here:
