WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his Q&A section on his official website (JRSBBQ.com). When asked how WWE should handle the finish of Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg at Survivor Series, Ross believes that Lesnar has to win the match if WWE only plans on having Goldberg back for a one-off match. However, if WWE plans to book another match between the two Superstars, then the finish is up for a debate.
“The least of my concerns is the finish of Goldberg vs Lesnar. I think Lesnar has to win in the ‘one off’ bout but if it’s not one off then the finish is up for debate. Match should be around 15 minutes bell to bell. “
In 2016, Braun Strowman was separated from The Wyatt Family and pushed a singles star. Ross thinks that he has a ton of potential and could be a giant babyface one day.
“Strowman is seemingly traveling the right road and has a ton of potential. Could be a giant, ‘face someday.”
Fellow WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin has stated that he would not be interested in wrestling one more match. A fan asked Ross about the chances of Austin coming back for one more match. Ross stated that Austin is done wrestling.
“Nope…Austin is done wrestling, but one never knows when he might make an appearance.”
Finally, Ross was asked if The Undertaker will be retiring soon and if he would be wrestling at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida.
“Taker will retire when he’s ready, but I assume that well might be sooner than later. I could see one more bout at WM33, but I’m assuming.“
