Jim Ross on Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey in WWE, comments on Neville’s heel turn

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has posted a new blog entry over at his website where he gives his thoughts on various topics. During the blog, Ross commented on WWE being interested in Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey. Ross asked how can anyone be shocked that the company wants the two UFC megastars. He noted that he would be more shocked if WWE weren't interested in Paige VanZant and Sage Northcutt as well. “I can't see any of them joining the WWE team full time but can easily see some strategically marketed, big event appearances that would include physicality and could be highly successful.”

Ross talked about Neville’s heel turn at this past Sunday’s Roadblock pay-per-view event. He thinks that Neville should strategically tweak his in-ring style/execution now that he's residing as a heel on WWE TV. Ross said that too much of the entertaining flying style makes it hard for any talent to be perceived as a villain.

Ross said that SmackDown Live being only two hours compared to RAW’s three-hour format makes it a more entertaining show.

Ross also talked about AJ Styles and more. You can read the entire blog here. If you haven’t done so, you can listen to the latest episode of the Ross Report here:
