Jim Ross pitches idea for Roman Reigns beating The Undertaker, comments on which match should close WM 33

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has posted a new blog entry over at his website where he gives his thoughts on various topics. During the blog, Ross commented on the ending to Monday’s RAW with Roman Reigns and The Undertaker. He thought that the segment was money and loved the chokeslam from Taker to Reigns, and so did the fans in Chicago. “I’d likely put Reigns over in Orlando via cheating to gain an unfair advantage as it would facilitate Reigns leaving WM with immense heat and bragging rights to carry Roman farther down the road. That obviously sets up the eventual ‘face turn which will make Roman Reigns the huge, fan favorite, face of the company talent that has been WWE’s focus for a long while.”

Ross also commented on the segment with Brock Lesnar and Goldberg on the show. He said that he embraced the physicality factored into the ongoing build of this feud. He said that the physicality was warranted and it worked. He noted that Paul Heyman was again a star on the microphone. Ross believes the match between the stars should close the show. “Goldberg vs. Lesnar closes the four-hour show at Wrestlemania, right? They do if I’m booking.”

Ross also talked about Charlotte Flair and more. You can read the entire blog here. If you haven’t done so, you can listen to the latest episode of the Ross Report by clicking here.
