The WWE’s Women’s Division has had some interesting developments in recent weeks. Becky Lynch’s recent injury has forced her off this weekend’s Survivor Series pay-per-view. Now, Ronda Rousey will face Charlotte Flair at the Staples Center show.
With that being said, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently took to his podcast, “The Ross Report,” to talk about how he’d book the WWE’s top female stars at WrestleMania. Ross believes Rousey will end up facing Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, and would like to see Lynch work with Asuka:
“I would think it would be Rousey and maybe Charlotte at WrestleMania,” Ross said. “I would book Asuka and get her back hot on a roll. Plus, she’s physical with those kicks and I love the physicality. And that’s who Becky should work with at WrestleMania.
“Becky/Asuka. Charlotte/Ronda. Now, there are a lot of right ways to do wrestling booking. There [are] a lot of good flavors of ice cream and I just gave you one example booking for those two women. That’s all. It’s my opinion.”
Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer revealed some interesting news on the entire situation. Click here if you want to know what the main event plans are for WrestleMania.
