Jinder Mahal talks about John Cena being his biggest competition in WWE

WWE Champion Jinder Mahal recently spoke with Sunday Guardian Live to talk about various topics. During the interview, he was asked about representing India. He said that he feels proud to represent the country and that The Great Khali is like his big brother.

“He represented India so well, and I want to do the same thing. I want to show that India has world-class athletes who are the best. I surely feel the pressure, and I feel this pressure only drives, it will enable me to retain my title.”

Mahal has already gone on record by saying that his dream opponent would be John Cena. Although Mahal is set to defend the WWE Title against Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison Match at the upcoming Battleground pay-per-view event later this month, Cena is back on WWE television, which could lead to a program between the two Superstars.

“Right now, I am focusing on my match with Randy Orton as I want to retain my title,” said Mahal of his biggest competitor in WWE. “But I think John Cena is my biggest competitor because for a long time, John Cena has been the face of the WWE and he won’t give up this title anytime soon. So, it would be challenging.”

Mahal also talked about his career, being WWE Champion and more. You can read the entire interview here.
