For those of you that have been wondering how Jinder Mahal was able to make such an amazing transformation since his return to WWE, he credits everything to his trainer Chris Cavallini. WWE has a wellness policy so we are going under the assumption that Mahal is clean. Last week on Chris Jericho’s podcast, he talked about how his intense training and clean diet has helped to get his body to look the way it looks now.
Mahal said, “Two months before I came back I hit rock bottom. I was drinking all the time, not watching what I was eating.” He noted that he was working on the indies and his weight went up at 260 pounds from drinking and depression. He said, “Then one day I said, ‘that’s it’, I’m going to start getting in shape. I stopped drinking, did meal prep and starting dieting and training hard. I lost like twenty pounds. Literally, two months of me doing this WWE called me.” Mahal also noted that he dieted hard in time for WrestleMania and didn’t have a cheat meal after Mania.
With all of that being said, there is still skepticism online.
Jinder "I don't take steroids" Mahals back.. ?

Ryback gave his thoughts on Mahal’s transformation (skip to 2:43).
With all of that being said, Reader Josh L. sent word that Mahal’s trainer was arrested in 2015 and he was charged for selling anabolic steroids. There is a second charge for the sale of a controlled substance. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the people he trains are using steroids but it fuel more speculation.
His LinkedIn bio lists him as the CEO of Nutrition Solutions and CEO of Clean Cheatz. You can see his arrest information by clicking here.
As seen below, Cavallini has trained/worked with several wrestlers in and out of WWE:

In early April, Mahal addressed the steroid and wellness policy comments:
#TBT to a few weeks ago, no idea exactly when or where… Anyone else on the roster have veins in their abs ??… And of course I'll get a hundred "steroid" or "wellness" comments …. I've been tested multiple times since coming back, and have never once in over 6 years with WWE had any issues. Follow my IG stories or my SnapChat and you can see that no one is out-training me, and no one is out-dieting me.
