Joe Hendry Hits Tampa Funny Bone This Friday For Chris Van Vliet’s Insight Live Days After ‘Fire Logan Paul’ Music Video Drop

Chris Van Vliet is bringing his “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast to Tampa for a special live show this Friday afternoon, ahead of WWE Backlash, with WWE star Joe Hendry confirmed as the special guest.

The Tampa show takes place Friday, May 8 at 4:00 PM at the Tampa Funny Bone Comedy Club & Restaurant at 1600 East 8th Avenue. Tickets are $42, the event is 21-and-older, and seating is first-come first-seated at four-person tables. Tickets are available at CVVTix.com and through the Tampa Funny Bone box office.

Hendry, the Scottish wrestler whose “I Believe In Joe Hendry” theme made him a viral entrance in 2024, was officially called up to WWE Raw on April 21 and performed a live concert segment on the April 27 episode. He signed with WWE from TNA in November 2025, won the WWE NXT Championship in February in a ladder match for the title vacated by Oba Femi, and lost it at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver on April 4 in a fatal four-way to Tony D’Angelo.

The Tampa appearance comes the same week WWE released the official music video for Hendry’s “Can We Fire Logan Paul?” song, the centerpiece of his ongoing on-screen feud with Logan Paul. The angle launched during Hendry’s April 27 Raw debut concert in Laredo, when the song’s chorus turned into a “Fire Logan Paul” arena chant before Paul and Austin Theory stormed the ring and The Street Profits ran in to even the odds. The music video, which features a battered Logan Paul cutout outside Adam Pearce’s office and clips of Paul taking lumps from The Miz, Seth Rollins, and IShowSpeed, dropped on Tuesday. It’s likely that Hendy will be asked about Logan Paul on Friday in Tampa.

Van Vliet has also announced a follow-up show in New Orleans on Saturday, September 5, the night before WWE Money in the Bank. The 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM show takes place at the Howlin’ Wolf at 907 South Peters Street. General admission tickets are $35. VIP tickets include early entry at 7:00 PM, a 30-minute pre-show Q&A with Chris on stage, a signed 8×10 photo, and a post-show meet-and-greet. Special guests for the New Orleans show have not yet been announced.

WWE Backlash 2026 takes place Saturday, May 9 at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa. WWE Money in the Bank 2026 takes place Sunday, September 6 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
