John Cena and Dominik Mysterio Set Title Match for Survivor Series
Monday Night Raw opened with an emotional and nostalgic moment, as John Cena came to the ring for his last-ever appearance on Raw. The moment was quickly spoiled by Dominik Mysterio, leading to a major championship match being set for Survivor Series.
A “Thank You” to the Crowd
John Cena came down the aisle into the ring to a huge reaction from the live audience. The crowd immediately began to chant his name, which then turned into a powerful chant of “Thank you, Cena.”
Cena, visibly taking in the moment, addressed the fans. “Cena said this is a very important moment for him.”
Dominik’s Demand
Before Cena could continue, he was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who was met by a massive chorus of boos. Dominik wasted no time in making his intentions clear. Dominik said he wanted his Intercontinental title rematch.
Cena was more than happy to oblige, immediately accepting the challenge. “Cena said yes, let’s go right now.”
However, Dominik had other plans. Dominik said he wants the match at Survivor Series in his backyard of San Diego to which Cena accepted.
