John Cena will return to action at Saturday night’s WWE Super Show-Down show in Melbourne, Australia. However, he is getting some rest back in the United States as he just wrapped some work for Jackie Chan’s “Project X” movie in China.
As we’ve reported before on the site, there has been a lot of skepticism on how much of their break-up drama is being manufactured for the E! Network cameras. We’re told that Cena flew from China to Tampa sometime in the last week and despite what has been said publicly, John and Nikki are still together. He flew from Tampa to San Diego, where they both own a home, on Monday.
If you are still wondering about the validity of their “break-up,” we’re told that Cena was at a BirdieBee party in Arizona that Nikki hosted and this was just days after they announced their break-up to the media back in August.
The Total Bellas cameras have been following Nikki and Brie around in recent weeks so it’s likely that they will be backstage on Saturday as John and Nikki see each other “for the first time in months.”
Cena is scheduled for an interview with Sports Illustrated next week and book signings to promote “Elbow Grease,” his new children’s book that hits bookshelves on October 9. We’re told that Cena might appear at Smackdown 1000 but that is not confirmed. He is scheduled to fly back to China at the end of the month to finish the last couple of months of filming for “Project X.”
He will be appearing at the following locations next week:
Barnes & Noble Union Square
33 E. 17th Street, New York, NY.
Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m.
Philadelphia Free Library
1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia, Pa.
Friday, Oct. 12, at 6:30 p.m.
He will also be doing a book signing live with Premiere Collectible on the LiveSigning YouTube channel on October 10 at 3 pm Eastern/ 12 pm Pacific.
