John Cena certainly knows how to get fans to talk and did just that in a post on social media.
The former WWE Champion is known to post random photos on his Instagram account without any explanation. For years, he has posted photoshop faces on the body of Steve Austin with various captions above it.
This time, he did so but with a blurred out face with a question mark. Also, his signature hat is placed with SummerSlam mentioned in both a caption and logo.
Thus, this has led to fans thinking that Cena could be teasing a potential appearance. It should be noted that there have been no reports about Cena appearing at this show or even on television.
Also, it would make sense for WWE to hype the return of Cena leading up to this event, but that hasn’t happened. However, if you recall at WrestleMania 35, he did make a surprise appearance at that show so take that for what it’s worth.

Cena was last used on WWE programming when he took on Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36 in a Firefly Funhouse Match.
