It appears that John Cena will not be wrestling at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event on February 12th in Phoenix, AZ at the Talking Stick Arena. The arena’s website and WWE.com are not advertising him to appear at the event. Cena, who is currently off of WWE TV to film the second season of his FOX TV series, is scheduled to return to action at the December 26th live event at the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York, NY.

He is also advertised for the SmackDown live events through January, although that is likely to change because Cena will play one of the leads in Kay Cannon's directorial debut, The Pact.

Elimination Chamber will be a Smackdown brand PPV and is the final WWE PPV event before WrestleMania 33 in Orlando Florida. Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, The Uso’s, Becky Lynch, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Natalya, and Nikki Bella are all advertised to appear at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
