– After Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live went off the air in Lincoln, NE at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, John Cena teamed up with WWE Champion Dean Ambrose to take on Bray Wyatt and AJ Styles in a tag team match. Cena and Ambrose won the match after Cena hit the AA on Styles, and Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Wyatt.
– As noted, Cena will not be working Sunday’s Backlash PPV event at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia because he is scheduled to appear at the WWE live event in Shanghai, China the day before. Cena commented on missing the PPV event via Twitter. He posted this:
“Even though I’m on tour in #WWEManila & #WWEShanghai, YOU can see #WWEBacklash @WWENetwork!”
