John Cena provides update on his recovery following surgery

As noted, John Cena recently suffered a rotator cuff injury and will be out for 6-9 months. Cena underwent successful surgery last Thursday and is now rehabbing.

Cena provided an update on his recovery following his latest surgery with this tweet:

“Day 6 post operation. Movement is very good, but because a giant chunk of cartilage was missing, this one may take a bit. #nevergiveup.”

Cena was expected to be a major part of WrestleMania 32 but those plans have changed. Typically, wrestlers with this type of injury have been out of action for 6-9 months.
