John Cena’s “Bumblebee” film is a critical success with mostly positive reviews from critics and moviegoers. The movie has been given a positive rating by 93% of critics on Rotten Tomatoes, which bodes well for the future of the franchise. We asked Cena his thoughts on the early reviews for the film.
“My faith lies with the moviegoer,” Cena said.
Cena did not say much when he was asked about how long it took to make the film. His response: “About as long as it takes to film a Transformers movie which is a complete secret. I can’t divulge that information.” Cena went on to say that everyone should go see the movie.
We asked Cena about plans to wrestle in 2019. He is advertised for some live events in January but we’re told that he is set to start filming another movie beginning on January 20th, which likely rules him out for the Royal Rumble.
Cena did not say much about his wrestling future but he made sure to let fans know that he will be in the ring starting this week. “You’ll see me in a WWE ring for 2018, starting December 26.”
Cena grew his hair out for Jackie Chan’s “Project X” film and it was the talk of social media when he first showed it off in front of the fans in Australia for WWE Super Show-Down. It looks like he will be keeping the hairstyle for now. “I think it’s fascinating, with everything going on in the world, people are still concerned with how I style my hair,” Cena said about the talk about his hair.
