John Cena suffers injury, likely off WrestleMania

Former WWE Champion John Cena recently suffered a rotator cuff injury and will have to undergo surgery to repair. Cena posted the following on Twitter:

This injury will keep Cena out for 6-9 months. Cena was expected to be a major part of WrestleMania 32, which is being held at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. A source in WWE noted to us that this will cause WWE to redo their WrestleMania plans. When we asked if there was a chance that he would be back in time for Mania, we were told, “very unlikely.”

Cena recently returned to WWE television to feud with Alberto Del Rio.
