Congratulations to John Cena. Earlier, we noted that he would be hosting the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards for the second year in a row. Now, according to multiple news outlets, he is adding another Nickelodeon project to his portfolio. Cena will be a villain in the upcoming “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” animated series.
“This is going to sound super cliché, but I just take things one day at a time,” Cena told E! News.
Cena will be playing Baron Draxum. He is a villain that is an “alchemist warrior mutant who seeks to turn all of humanity into mutants.” It’s a recurring character and fans will be able to Draxum on the first episode when the show premieres later this year.
Cena is also going to be the executive producer for “Keep It Spotless,” a Nickelodeon game show that “features kids competing in a variety of physical and paint-filled challenges designed with one goal in mind–to stay as clean as possible.” The show is scheduled to premiere later this year.
Cena is going to be very busy this year. He is scheduled to appear at most of the WWE Raw shows through WrestleMania and he is booked for a major Mania match. It’s a huge spoiler and you can click here if you want to find out who will be his opponent.
