John Cena works WWE SmackDown dark match, Brie Bella teases return, HIAC PPV news

– After SmackDown Live went off the air, the dark match was John Cena, Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Seth Rollins. Cena, Reigns and Ambrose picked up the win when Reigns hit a spear and Superman punch on Rollins, Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment on Wyatt and Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Rowan. The babyfaces posed for the fans to close the show. It should be noted that Cena did not appear on the live broadcast of SmackDown.

– As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Carmella and Nikki Bella were supposed to wrestle each other but Carmella attacked Bella before the match started. Brie Bella, who unofficially retired from pro wrestling earlier this year, posted this teaser on Twitter:

“Oh hell no @CarmellaWWE #BrieMode is about to get activated!!! #SmackDownLIVE #Damn #FearlessNikki.”

– The 2016 WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view event will take place on October 30th at the TD Garden in Boston. Tickets will go on-sale to the general public this Friday.
