John Laurinaitis Receives Deadline To Respond To Janel Grant Lawsuit

Former WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon has dominated the headlines following a lawsuit alleging McMahon was involved in sex trafficking, sharing nude photos and explicit videos of Janel Grant without consent, and other things from the former WWE employee.

Suit

The company and former WWE Executive John Laurnatis were also named in the suit. A lawyer for the former WWE Executive noted in a statement at the time that Laurinaitis denies the allegations in the misguided complaint and will vigorously defend these charges in Court.

The lawyer also stated that “Laurinaitis is a victim in this case, not a predator. The truth will come out.” You can read the entire lawsuit by clicking here.

Response

According to court documents obtained by Pwinsider, Laurinaitis will become the first defendant in the suit to respond as he recently filed a waiver of service on March 20 before the United States District Court of Connecticut.

This means that he has informed the Court that he is aware of the lawsuit Grant has filed against him and others without needing to be served with the suit. He has attested that he will respond within 60 days as of March 15.
