John Morrison recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of SI.com to talk about various topics. During the interview, Morrison was asked about Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV and who he thinks will win the match. He said that he loves the match and that he thinks that the winner of the match could be three guys – Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker or Finn Balor. Morrison predicted that Lesnar would win the match. It should be noted that Balor is currently out of action with a shoulder injury and has not been officially announced to compete in the match. Morrison added that if he makes it home from the 5 Star Wrestling event in the UK on Saturday, then he’ll watch the Royal Rumble event.
When asked about WWE Champion AJ Styles, Morrison noted that he had the chance to wrestle Styles twice in his career and that no one deserves to be WWE Champion more than Styles. “He put in his time and paid his dues, and he’s so crisp and clean, and his mind is so wrapped around wrestling. He’s a pleasure to be in the ring with. He can fly, he can do ground work.” He noted that their styles meshed really well in the ring and that they had good chemistry.
