With NXT going live in primetime for two hours on the USA Network in order to compete head-to-head with AEW Dynamite on TNT, there has been a lot of speculation as to changes made to the core of the brand.
According to Triple H, who oversees all creative for the brand, he has no intention of making the brand like the main roster shows – Raw and SmackDown.
“If I wanted to make it Raw and SmackDown, I would have already done it. But there is no intent in doing that, and there is no benefit in doing that,” he said. “I feel in some way we are that band that signs with a major record label, but we’re not going to change what we do.”
