Although Johnny Gargano has made it known that he wants to take time off from wrestling to be with his wife, Candice LeRae, ahead of the arrival of their first child, fans are waiting to see what he does next with his career.
The former NXT Champion opted to not renew his contract with WWE last month and he is currently on the free agent market. Gargano mentioned in a tweet that by listening to wrestling theme songs, he’s starting to get the itch to come back.
Gargano tweeted, “You know when I start working out to wrestling theme songs…the itch is slowly starting to come back…”
After leaving WWE, Gargano has launched his Twitch channel and Pro Wrestling Tees shop. It’s been reported that WWE officials expect Gargano to make a return although, with all of the changes going on in NXT, there’s a lot of speculation that he could be headed to AEW when he feels it’s time to step back into the ring.
