Jon Moxley wants to see Christian join AEW

Jon Moxley has been a top star in WWE and AEW, but he left WWE because he didn’t like the way handled its creative.

Moxley made it known in a new interview with Inside the Ropes that he would like to see another former WWE World Champion jump to All Elite Wrestling and that’s Christian.

“I’ll tell you, a guy I’d like to see here is Christian. I don’t know if that was a one-off for him in the Royal Rumble but he looked frigging good to me, looked like he was in great shape, he looked sharp, man. I tell you, he’s one of the guys that’s – the wrestlers know it more so than anybody – Christian is so good. Like, his brain and his execution, and his mind for wrestling is just like next-level.”

He recalled how the first time he worked with him while in The Shield, they were pushing the pace and trying to make the best matches possible. He recalled talking with Seth Rollins about how good Christian is. He noted that while they thought they were really good, they quickly realized how great Christian is and called him a next-level performer.

Moxley is interested in seeing the matches Christian could have with some of the wrestlers in AEW and the creative freedom that they have.

“I would be extremely excited to see that. That would be my number one dream guy.“

Christian made his in-ring return at this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event where he worked the Men’s Royal Rumble Match. He had been retired for several years due to a history of concussions. The chances of Christian moving to AEW instead of staying with WWE aren't likely.
