WWE NXT star Jordynne Grace is making the jump to the big screen. According to Variety, the former TNA Knockouts Champion is set to make her feature film debut in the genre-bending fantasy film, “Welcome to Paradise.”
The independent film, which is currently in post-production, is written and directed by Richard Summers-Calvert. It blends psychological drama, dark comedy, and mythic surrealism, and centers on a mysterious carnival where winning could mean survival.
The movie boasts an impressive cast, including voice work from British thespian Bill Nighy and an appearance by “Gavin & Stacey” star Mathew Horne. The film is toplined by rising stars Georgina Bennett and Kirk Patterson.
Grace’s involvement adds another exciting element to the ambitious project, which is eyeing a late 2025 release and a run on the major film festival circuit.
