The judge handling the lawsuit over Hulk Hogan’s sex tape has ruled that the tape can be posted online. The tape, filmed several years ago featured Hogan with the ex-wife of his best friend Bubba the Love Sponge, popped up on the Gawker website last year. Hogan was able to get a restraining order to get the tape removed. The restraining order is now lifted because the judge ruled that the tape was a matter of public concern due to the publicity it received.
The court ruled, “”Mr. Bollea failed to meet the heavy burden to overcome the presumption that the temporary injunction is invalid as an unconstitutional prior restraint under the First Amendment.”
