WWE aired court segments with Otis on this week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
Judge John “Bradshaw” Layfield was tasked to decide on whether or not Otis should keep his Money In The Bank briefcase. Ron Simmons appeared as the bailiff along with a cameo appearance by Teddy Long.
Layfield was about to rule in favor of Otis but Miz presented another piece of evidence that was inside of a briefcase and it was implied that there was a lot of money in the case.
As a result of this, JBL ordered Otis to face The Miz at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on Sunday and the winner will get the Money In The Bank contract.
As noted earlier, the Otis court segments caused issues backstage at SmackDown. Click here for backstage news on the chaos that was going on behind-the-scenes.
