Update 2x: Liger and New Japan Pro Wrestling have ties to ROH, which has sparked some heat between NJPW and ROH because ROH runs a live event that goes head-to-head with NXT Takeover on the same night. Several NJPW stars will be working the ROH Field of Honor event.
Finally, there are significant behind-the-scenes moves are being made regarding the NXT and ROH relationship, but none of those moves has to do with NJPW.
