Kairi Sane has been released by WWE. She is another one of the surprising names released today. As noted earlier, Aleister Black and Zelina have also been released. Sane’s tag team partner Asuka is still with WWE and was in a storyline with Sane that seemed to be headed towards something bigger.
We wish the best for everyone released. It would not surprise me if AEW reached out to Sane and some of the other names let go today.
