Kairi Sane returns to in-ring action after dealing with injury

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane made her return to in-ring action at Friday’s WWE live event in Lafayette, LA at the Cajundome.

Earlier in the day, she indicated that she was back for in-ring action with this post on her official Twitter account:

At this show, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Natalya defeated Sarah Logan and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Kairi Sane and Asuka.

Although Sane has appeared on episodes of Raw over the past few weeks, she had not wrestled a single match since last month.

The Kabuki Warriors retained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles over Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch Lynch in the first-ever Women’s Tag Team TLC Match during the main event of the WWE TLC pay-per-view.

At the time, the belief was that Sane had suffered a concussion in this contest although WWE never confirmed the news. She was pulled from all WWE shows for the rest of 2019 and even didn’t work matches for the first half of January.
