Kamala, Dory Funk Sr, and Ivan Koloff Announced As 2025 Legacy Inductees For WWE Hall Of Fame

WWE confirmed today that Kamala, Dory Funk Sr., and Ivan Koloff will enter the WWE Hall of Fame as the 2025 Legacy inductees.

Koloff was a villainous Russian and achieved international fame by ending Bruno Sammartino’s historic seven-year reign as WWWF Heavyweight Champion in 1971. Koloff continued to be a major heel throughout the 1970s and 1980s, working for various promotions, including multiple stints in the WWE.

Kamala, real name James Harris, portrayed a fearsome and “wild savage” character, complete with face and body paint, a loincloth, and a spear. He had multiple runs in the WWE during the 1980s and 1990s. During his tenure, he feuded with the likes of Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker. WrestleVotes reported last month that his name was considered for a Hall of Fame induction.

Funk Sr. was a major star and a multi-time NWA Junior Heavyweight and North American Heavyweight Champion. He co-founded Western States Sports in Amarillo, Texas and was the father of Dory Funk Jr. and Terry Funk, who became world champions.

Triple H is slated to headline the class. The Natural Disasters, Lex Luger and Michelle McCool will also be inducted.
